Matariki Celebration

Last week we celebrated Matariki with a great afternoon on Thursday. Leanne made us some yummy soup using vegetables donated by our parents as well as the pumpkin we grew in the school garden. There were lots of arts and crafts being made, a big thank you to the whānau who came and helped and joined us for the afternoon. Here are some Matariki Stars and kites we made.

    We think think your kites are so cool. We especially like the designs on your kites. We think its pretty special that you grow your own pumpkins, how did you do it?
